We've Revamped Our Homepage for your Searchling Pleasure

Well it's kinda hard to miss, like when you visit the house you grew up in and your parents have turned your room into a 'home gym' - but based on your continuous feedback (for which we are much obliged), we've relaunched the homepage! The result is easier access than ever to the popular channels and posts which have been condensed a bit to give your Searchles homepage more bang for your buck, more content for your peripheral vision. Check it out!

Key updates:

* Popular Searchles TV channels featured right at the top of the homepage. Click on the image and the whole channel drops down for easy viewing. Click the arrows left or right to view more.

* Top groups now featured prominently in a toolbar at the top of the homepage - just a click away to check out the latest, most interesting news in Technology, Entertainment, Politics, etc.

* The posts are now condensed display-wise so you can get a better quick overview of top-rated or recent posts. We were thinking that sometimes you want the content right there, without having to scroll down too far. Scroll over the title of the post and more info pops up! - description, tags, so on and so forth.

* Posts are also tabbed. You can now easily jump to the most recent, top rated in the last 12 hrs, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month...you get it.

* 'Posts' dropdown at the top of the homepage. Easy to make the most of your trusted Searchles network - quick access to your posts, your friends' posts, your groups' posts.

Sooooo basically harder, better, faster, stronger - anything to put the posts you're interested in, you know...in your face. Having problems with any of the aforementioned Searchles features in your browser - shoot us an email!! Otherwise it should be smooth sailing across our snazzy new homepage. Well that's all she wrote for now. Hope June finds everyone well and good!

Searchles Back On Track & Faster Than The Average Bear

We just experienced a server upgrade this afternoon! It was wonderful, was it good for you? Anywho, the site is back up running strong and faster than ever so post away!

We also just heard the news about Tim Russert and are saddened by the loss of a great journalist and key figure in this historic election.

Measures Being Taken to Prevent Site Issues of This Past Week

Unfortunately we've been having a few issues this past week with some instances of the site being down. We surely apologize for the inconvenience, but we promise we're being proactive and taking measures to stop this from happening again (a little part of us dies every time the site goes down). We'll be upgrading our database later on today to increase speed and site reliability - please bear with us and hope everyone has a great weekend!
