We've been listening to your feedback regarding the email notifications received every time a new link is posted to one of your groups and have come up with a new, more efficient solution. We are now replacing the individual notifications with the "Searchles Recap"—a comprehensive email update that will condense all the recent flurry of activity going on in your own circle of groups and users into one email o’plenty. Wham, bam, thank you Searchles.
The Searchles Recap will spell out the following updates: new messages in your inbox, recent members who have joined your groups, recent posts to your groups (displaying which user posted the link and the corresponding groups), and the top ten recent links on Searchles according to the new ratings feature.
We've also taken it a step further and are giving you the option to choose how frequently you'd like to receive the Searchles Recap. You can easily customize this new feature so that the updates arrive anywhere from hourly to daily. You can even control the time of day you receive the Recap. Keep in mind that the Searchles Recap is also easily forwarded on to friends and colleagues outside of the Searchles community to give a quick glimpse of what you’ve been checking out on the web. So keep on posting your quality content and karma will bring you a spanking new Searchles Recap full of relevant content in return!
